The DirtBusters Services Technician uses professional equipment and proven techniques that thoroughly dry scrubs and vacuums your air ducts. There are no chemicals used in this scrubbing vacuuming process. After cleaning, the total duct system is fogged with an environmentally safe deodorizer, bacteriostat, fungistat and germistat (covered fully in Step D). The end result is fresh, clean air in your home!
As you know, your home heating/cooling system circulates air through a complex of ducts and vents to make your indoor living environment comfortable. This very system may also be the culprit in supplying your home with venting air pollutants such as mildew, mold, dust mites and dust particles. If the air ducts in your home have never been cleaned, they could very well be filthy with these pollutants that commonly cause allergy and breathing problems. The DirtBusters Services eliminates these contaminants and helps you to keep your home cleaner and healthier to live in!
The equipment that our technicians use to clean your duct systems is EPA Registered and safe for use in controlling the growth of microorganisms, and eliminates the unpleasant odors that are the result of microbial growth. Also, it oxidizes odors associated with bacteria, mold, mildew etc. The source of the odor is eliminated, leaving your air fresh and clean.
Preparation -Step A
All register covers are removed to access the duct cleaning equipment.
Air source & return - Step B
The covers will be cleaned before they are reinstalled.The source of the air supply will be surface cleaned (where applicable), including the
air return.
Air vents cleaned - Step C
The air ducts are rotary brushed and vacuumed clean with professional equipment, designed specifically for duct cleaning. This process removes the dust and contaminates that continually circulate through the air duct system and the home.
Deodorizer -Step D
After cleaning, your The DirtBusters technician will fog the inside of the air ducts and vents with an all-purpose deodorizer, bacteriostat, fungistat, and germistat. The furnace blower will be used to insure a complete fogging of the air duct system.
